Our card for this is a brilliant white card obtained from renewable sources, it has a silk finish.
For most uses our standard range offers the best value for money and quality.
Gloss Range
These cards are not laminated but are printed onto what the paper mill class as Gloss card, we prefer to call it satin as the final product is not a high gloss.
This card provides a very crisp image and produces fantastic colours which are the best solution for business cards that contain photographic images.
They do appear thinner than some of cards as the gain is more dense which produces better results for photographs.
Textured Range
This is a laid card which is perfect for producing the classic textured look,
has a Diamond white colour producing that little something extra for your cards.
(not suitable for cards with photographic or large blocks of colour)
Dispite its low gram weight this is a thick card and more like our 400gsm standard card for its thickness and stiffness.
Becoming a very popular choice.

History of Swindon
Swindon, Wiltshire has been built on and around a hill which is 140m above sea level. Swindon has had a quarrying history and Bronze Age and Iron Age artefacts have been found in former quarry sites. Swindon began as a town settlement linked to a Roman military encampment. It was at the junction of two Roman roads which would bring commerce to the town.
When the Romans left, the Saxons moved in, building a farming community which lasted over a century. It has been suggested that the name ‘Swindon’ came from the Saxon ‘swine’ or ‘pig’ and ‘down’ or ‘hill’. The town is recorded in the 1086 Domesday book as both ‘Suidone’ and ‘Suindune’. Medieval Swindon industry relied on farming, livestock and quarrying Purbeck Stone which can be polished like marble.
The introduction of first a canal system and then the Great Western Railway Works was important to Swindon. The ability to transport Purbeck stone over long distances encouraged more quarrying. The position of the canal enabled the headquarters of the Great Western Railway to be built as it offered an easy way to transport coal. The railway significantly increased the size of Swindon as many jobs were created.
The association with the railway ended in the 1960’s, however other companies have moved in to take advantage of the central position of Swindon.
