Our card for this is a brilliant white card obtained from renewable sources, it has a silk finish.
For most uses our standard range offers the best value for money and quality.
Gloss Range
These cards are not laminated but are printed onto what the paper mill class as Gloss card, we prefer to call it satin as the final product is not a high gloss.
This card provides a very crisp image and produces fantastic colours which are the best solution for business cards that contain photographic images.
They do appear thinner than some of cards as the gain is more dense which produces better results for photographs.
Textured Range
This is a laid card which is perfect for producing the classic textured look,
has a Diamond white colour producing that little something extra for your cards.
(not suitable for cards with photographic or large blocks of colour)
Dispite its low gram weight this is a thick card and more like our 400gsm standard card for its thickness and stiffness.
Becoming a very popular choice.

History of Oxford
Anglo Saxons first settled in Oxford and it is suggested that the city got its name from a nearby ford across the river for oxen: ‘oxenforda’ or ‘ford of the oxen’. Oxford may have been an important military town because of its position between the kingdoms of Mercia and Wessex. The city was damaged during the 1066 Norman invasion.
Oxford is best known throughout the world for its university. The college was founded in 1167 which makes it the oldest English-speaking college in the world. Initially there were tensions between the students and townspeople. A Chancellor was appointed to discipline the students but problems still continued. The students brought commerce to the town. A thriving industry was built up around serving the students and their needs. The merchants included butchers, brewers, tailors, bakers, shoemakers and carpenters.
In the 18th and early 19th centuries, canals were built to link Oxford to Coventry and the River Thames. The railway was expanded to link Oxford with London and Reading, and with it further opportunities for commerce to the city.
The printing and publishing industry brought jobs and prosperity to Oxford during the early 20th century. A car manufacturer, Morris Motors Ltd was built in the city bringing more jobs and people. The BMW Mini is still manufactured on a smaller site in the city. The university is still one of the largest providers of jobs in Oxford.
